Trump the Outsider

President Trump has been in the public eye since the early eighties, there was nothing about him between his arrival in the public eye and the election season for the 2016 Presidential Election that caused him to be known as such a racist, a misogynist and an all-around dirty rotten bastard.

He was considered a blow hard, a conceited billionaire, a reality show celebrity, and a character, but never a racist, never a woman abuser, and certainly never so despicable that you had to loath him. The loathing only came when he decided he wanted to be the President.

Based on this I think it’s safe to assume that President Trumps overall behavior and personality had nothing to do with the loathing he must endure from so many people, it’s his position as the President that caused it. He is not a product of the political class, he’s his own man with his own principles and his own agenda, to Make America Great Again.

His crude behavior hasn’t changed in the past forty years; he’s a wealthy man with large appetites. He’s cycled through several very attractive wives and he knows how to have a good time. When not in front of a camera he is almost certainly guilty of several levels of bad behavior but that’s not news now.

The point that I’m trying to make is that President Trump isn’t such a bad person because of his character, his personality, or behavior. The loathing for him only started after he said he was running for President. That means Donald Trump isn’t the dirty rotten bastard, President Trump is the Dirty Rotten bastard. It’s a matter of credibility; if you didn’t loath Donald Trump the Billionaire, you really don’t have the right to loath him now.

It’s not only the loyal opposition who loathes him, many on the same side as President Trump loath him as well.

The political class doesn’t want him in office because he’s a wild card, he’s his own man and he can’t be controlled. He’s getting things done that some people may not want to get done. He passed a tax reform bill, he made progress in the middle east and in North Korea, even though that seems to be stuck in a setback, it is still moving ahead slowly.

He’s making things happen and getting things done. He spent his life as a successful businessman, of course he could run the Executive Branch of the United States Government. Those who were saying he was going to get in over his head were clueless not him. He knows how to run a large organization and he knows how to compromise and get a deal done.

Progress in government requires legislation not cash and loans, but he knows how to make a deal and he knows how to come to consensus. The Political Class has lost touch with the real world or they’re jealous of outsiders getting into their world, but the way they’ve been running things something had to give.

The Founding Fathers had someone like Donald Trump in mind when they wrote the Constitution, they didn’t anticipate full time political hacks making a living and getting rich as public servants.

The loathing for President Trump is based on him rocking the boat from the outside, not based on him the man.

Many people voted for President Trump because he is from the outside, we need more outsiders getting into government and a lot of insiders to start getting out.
