Leadership in a Vacuum
There is a void in our government. We don’t have any leadership anywhere. Leaders stand in front of the led and identify the situation, make decisions and lead the led to the stated goal.
Leaders don’t check the polls to see where the public sentiment is. Leaders are not afraid of a challenge, or afraid of defeat. They make decisions and lead people.
Our current big issue that is not taken as seriously as it should be by the elected empty suits in office is the sequestration. This is a tool put in place by the same elected empty suits who are blaming each other for its existence; to allow them to fail to solve a problem back in 2011.
The elected empty suits failed to face the serious spending problem they have. Elected empty suits have the spending problem; the tax payers have a different problem. The tax payers are being used and abused by the elected empty suits we repeatedly put into office.
Elected empty suits can’t earn our respect by doing the job they were hired to do so they buy our affection the only way they know how to. They got into office by being whores and we seem to be easily impressed by a cheap painted whore so we keep voting for them.
The elected empty suits shine up their lies distortions and misrepresentations that they pass off as their resumes and records of accomplishments and then strut their painted whorish public persona in front of the voters to get elected. Then they serve in office as they are told to by whatever power broker has the most compromising photos instructs them to serve.
Public servants who look out for the best interests of the taxpayer and do not look for any personal gain, in prestige, power, or cash do not exist. If some do exist, their numbers are too small or their efforts are ineffective.
We need leaders, or a leader who will stand in front of the crowd of whore in office and state the situation clearly and honestly. Starting with, we are spending far too much of our grandchildren and great grandchildren’s money for no legitimate purpose.
Another thing that needs to be explained is that the deep draconian cuts required by the sequestration total 85 Billion out of a budget of 3.6 Trillion. That’s about 2.3%. Out of a 3.6 Trillion dollar budget 2.3% is nothing. That’s just a tiny bit above a rounding error.
One argument that could be valid is that the sequestration requires cuts in areas that can’t or shouldn’t be cut. First that’s a false argument because in any government operation there is waste. Finding 2.3% waste is easy. Any failed businessman can find 2.3% of waste in a well-run operation. Blind dead people can find that and more in a government run operation.
Leaders tell the truth and stand by what they say. Politicians speak in platitudes and make false arguments to fool potential voters.
We need a leader to stand tall and speak the truth, we don’t have one.
Our government is operating in a vacuum.
