Why Attack Success
The president and the protesters are telling us that the successful
people of the world are the source of most of our problems. Their greed is the
cause of most of our economic troubles.
How do they measure “success”? It appears their wealth is
the measure of success. Sometimes it’s direct and sometimes it’s indirect.
Successful people tend to make a lot of money. In time they pass and that money
is inherited by others. One way or another wealth usually came from success.
For those who believe that wealth and success are the result
of greed and the cause of other people’s lack of success they will always your
gain as my loss. For those of us who see success and admire it, even want to
learn from it and emulate it, we see role models and opportunities. Life is not
a zero sum game. My success does not contribute to your failure. My success may
be the source of an opportunity for your success.
My success causes my income to increase, so I buy more
things and possibly hire some help. My money is pumped into the economy to increase
other people’s business. When I hire help someone has additional income and it
also increases their purchasing power.
If my success is so big that I have to hire a lot of people
and create a strong business, look at how many incomes I am creating and how
much my company has to interact with other companies. The services and products
required to run a successful business keeps lots of people successful. Success
when it’s encouraged leads to more success. Success is a good thing; too many
people see success and see it as a bad thing.
Is it jealousy, or is it ignorance? Why do those who see
success as a bad thing want to punish it? Do they really want to make the
successful pay for everything? Do they want to confiscate the income of the successful
to allow for the shortfall in revenue because of the slow economy?
Or is it a lack of understanding of how the economy works?
The free market economy works best when left alone. Let the successful be
successful and hold them up to the world and show everyone how to be successful.
Hard work, persistence, commitment, and creative thinking lead to success.
Those lessons need to be learned by everyone and used to lead to their own
Success is good reward it every time you see it.
