Good News Bad News For New York

The accidental governor in this state is trying to play hardball with the incompetent legislature. The elected public servants who are expected to work effectively to support the voters and tax payers in this state have again failed to pass a budget on time. They also choose to spend more money than they take collect in revenues. The governor wants to pass a short term emergency bill forcing them incompetents to agree to some necessary spending cuts in order to spend the money that must be spent. The long term incompetence and irresponsible service provided by these elected losers has caused this situation to exist. Let me repeat that. The public servants elected to be responsible representatives of the people, failed to perform in a competent manner and do the job they are paid for, so now they must take emergency action to make things happen. Their consistent failure has created a crisis and now their petty bickering will create more of a crisis.
We elected these idiots and most of them have been in office for more than one term. Their consistent and complete incompetence is what they brag about when it is time to be reelected and we fall for their misstatements and distortions. If you had to work side by side with any of these people at work you would be complaining about them to everybody you know. Imagine having to work next to someone who never accomplishes any task assigned to them. Imagine working next to someone whose work ethic prevents them form doing anything effective at any time. You would have to do your job and theirs because they never do what needs to be done. What little they do interferes with the process and prevents the smooth flow of anything productive.
The accidental governor is trying to do something, anything is better than nothing. There has to be an emergency spending bill because they entire government failed to do their job. Their obligations to special interests prevent them from working in the best interests of the people who elected them. Any of them who would want to argue with my statement would first have to explain why they fail to pass a budget as required by law on time and within the means available to spend. They would also have to explain every dollar that is paid out. Some of the money spent by this government doesn’t pass the smell test.
Taxes are way too high; spending is out of control and the elected representatives of the tax payers appear to be more interested in servicing outside interests than they are of representing the residents of this state.
If the government has to get shut down a lot of necessary services will be shot down, but a lot of mismanagement and waste will also get shut down. Are they so broken that we won’t notice they’re not there working hard for us? They never do anything for us; they only do what others tell them to do. The less time they are working will probably only work in our favor.
Honor, integrity, and loyalty are important. When it comes time to vote again I hope more of us use that as a standard to vote for. Their behavior shows us that they are not hard working public servants. Their public statements and behavior show us they are not the type of hard working individuals I would want to work with. Why do we pay them to abuse our trust? It’s time to give someone else a chance.

Vote the Bums Out,

Gino
