RABBIT d’ISCHIA

First you must prepare your yard and tools. Where normal people plant roses and grass, you have to plant tomatoes and basil. In the fall, you have to pick your tomatoes and basil, and go through the “canning” process. Now you have jars of tomatoes and basil on the shelf ready to be used for any of Pop’s special recipes.
Your next requirement would be to have a six foot wooden ladder. On the shelf that flips down, you have to nail two nails about 12 inches apart. Now you are ready for Easter.
Early Easter morning you have to find several small fuzzy bunny rabbits. Bring the bunnies home in a small box and let the kiddies play with them for a while.
After the kiddies leave the bunnies, pull them out of the box one at a time and beat the piss out of it and cut their throats. Then you skin it and clean it and put it in a pot.
Once it is in the pot you fry it slowly and drown it in tomatoes and basil. At this point you feed the “Easter Rabbits d’Ischia” to the same small children that were playing with the bunnies in the first place.
