Millions Face Tax Increases Under Budget Plan

Millions Face Tax Increases Under Budget Plan

This was a headline I found online this morning. As the empty suits were campaigning prior to Election Day they were busy moving their lips and promising us a free lunch. Our lunch would be free, our dinner would be subsidized, our wives and daughters would love and respect us. The very hot girl down the block and a couple of supermodels would start to have the hots for us. Our thinning hair issue would go away and that intermittent performance anxiety would never, ever occur, especially with a couple of super models wanting us.
They promised us all this and swore to God that it wouldn’t cost us anything and our taxes would not go up. The sleazy, thieving, stingy rich people would have to pay for it because they should. Well Congratulations, because millions of us just became rich. They haven’t delivered most of what they promised, but what they have delivered has cost us a couple of more shekels than they said it would and now we have an ugly deficit.
At the time when their lips were moving the brighter among us kept insisting that there never is a free lunch. If a well fed, folliclly challenged, specimen like you has some one who might look like a supermodel look at you and not run away, it’s got to cost you something. When you put one hand on her knee, the bill starts to mount, and you will pay. They promised us a supermodel of easy virtue, but they gave us an ugly pig wearing a little bit of cheap lipstick, but we still have to pay the supermodel prices.
I have an important life lesson for all of you out there. When something sounds too good to be true, it IS too good to be true. If your mother, or your brother (the one without a criminal record) made those promises to you, you wouldn’t believe them, why believe it when you hear it from an empty suit. Individuals running for public office have a vested interest in the concept of bait and switch. They will dangle some shiny bait in front of us and tell us how good it’s going to feel. We all like shiny objects and we like things that feel good. We all want Suzy “Chesty” McSupermodel to like us and want to be seen in public with us on their arm as eye candy. But it’s never going to happen.
Much of the money spent in a political campaign is spent trying to determine what we want to hear. No money is spent trying to find out how to accomplish what we want. The elected spendthrifts spend money like drunken sailors (my apologies to the drunken men and women who served honorably in the U S Navy). They spend money for things for no apparent reason. The public piggy bank is empty, but they still obey their party leaders, and those who paid their ill gotten gains to get the empty suits elected. The elected empty suits believe it’s more important to spend money that we don’t have to comply with the instructions of the special people who are important to them.
Let’s go back to the headline above. “Millions face tax increases under budget plan” that statement should be part of the indictment read in a courtroom for everyone who voted first to spend until it hurts, hurts us not them, and for anyone who voted to raise our taxes, again. The rich are not only going to have to fund the wasteful spending, but the not so rich are going to get screwed, and not by Suzy “Chesty” McSupermodel.
No where in that article did they mention any cuts in spending. They only mention raising taxes to reduce, not eliminate, the deficit within 5 years. I have another life lesson for all of you. They collect not only enough, but way too much in tax revenues every year. Stop spending NOW and see how you can reduce the deficit NOW not in the future. Don’t spend what you don’t have. The budgets are big enough that you can look probably with both eyes closed to find money that doesn’t need to be spent. When you find the legislation that authorizes that money get spend, find out who initiated it, and everyone who voted for it and give them a BIG public time out.
The dim witted empty suits who vote to spend money we don’t have on things we don’t need and then vote for tax increases have got to get voted out of office. When the bill is passed and goes to an executive, and the executive doesn’t veto that bill, the executive needs to be recalled for dereliction of duty. That’s a clear case of a high crime or misdemeanor. This is an obvious case of a disregard for the welfare of the tax payer. That stupid son of a bitch does not need to be in office and Election Day is too far off. He should be recalled and replaced the first time he or she fails to veto unnecessary spending. The elected empty suits will make an attempt at being cleaver by slipping the sneaky spending into other bills that must be passed. Veto the unnecessary spending anyway, show some intestinal fortitude. Use the Bully pulpit to shame them into being responsible. Empty suits are empty suits; they’re only doing what they were told to do by the power brokers pulling their strings, and they are rarely very clever about it.
Executive are leaders, or at least we expect them to be. Set the standards and make them comply. When you do the right things for the right reasons, the right results usually happen. Stand up and fight for the millions of rich that we’ve become and are forced to pay the bill for the irresponsible drunken sailors we put into office.

Vote the Bums Out,

Gino
