I Want to Kiss a New York State Legislator

I Want to Kiss a New York State Legislator

I have been a New Yorker all of my life. We have so much to be proud of in the Empire State, The Empire State Building, The New York Yankees, Ellis Island, The Statue of Liberty, The Twin Towers and what they fell for and how New Yorkers were able to stand up and rebound from such evil. New York is a pretty amazing State, it’s amazing because of the people who live here, raise their families here, and especially pay their extortion i.e. taxes here.
Now for a little contrast, New York State can also boast about the most pitiful legislators in the world. Without going into any detail about this summer’s Circus in Albany let’s just go into some general facts about these clowns in Albany. If they have any regard for the people who vote them into office, they go out of their way to hide it. They’ve never met a tax increase or a pay raise that they didn’t like. They always vote as instructed by those who pull their strings and ignore the will of the tax payers of New York State.
Our most recently elected Governor had the misfortune to engage in some recreational activity with an assortment of for profit ladies of easy virtue, who couldn’t keep a secret. Our current Governor had the misfortune of hiring a senior level advisor who has an alleged anger management issue that may or may not have irritated his significant other to the point that she felt compelled to dial 911 and have the senior level advisor arrested. All that was bad enough, but there are some indications that a few phone calls, from Albany may have had a negative impact on the police investigation of the incident; and as we learned from Richard Nixon, the cover up is always worse than the actual crime, oops another high level scandal in New York. To compound this there is the possibility that this same governor twisted an arm or two to get some free Yankee World Series tickets and then pulled a Bill Clinton on the stand when answering some questions under oath. Is this an oops, another scandal or an additional charge to the original scandal? Our appointed Governor can multi task, lucky us!
I would go into the power struggle for Majority Leader in the State Senate, but I had trouble understanding the details as it happened, because there was too much silliness and deception. It’s difficult to distinguish from their usual behavior to separate it from the special shenanigans displayed in this power struggle.
Another distinction of the Clowns in Albany they never pass their budget in a timely manner. First they have to wait for instructions from the people they answer to, the important people, not the citizens who voted for them. Then they have to figure out how to explain the numbers to us to soften the blow. And then they have to make sure their pay increase is disguised adequately to keep our screaming to a minimum.
As our state bleeds citizens, doctors and businesses because of the exorbitant taxes these clowns inflict on us, they simultaneously raise the pay and benefits of the public sector union employees. Why do they do this? Because the trial lawyers, union bosses, and Political Power Brokers tell them to that’s why.
This is the same activity that got our last elected Governor in trouble, but this time the for profit ladies of easy virtue are our elected legislators. I think I need to be kissed, because someone just screwed me. Or maybe I did it to myself in the voting booth last November.
Whether we want it to or not November is coming around again this year and shame on us if we vote the same for profit men and women of easy virtue we sent there last time. If they are in office now they’re guilty of deception, theft, or conspiracy. Some actually committed the crimes, some only participated in a conspiracy for the actual criminals to commit the crimes and the rest sat by and let it all happen.

In November we have to vote the BUMS out of office!!
